Paints BBQ

These guys opened Paints BBQ in early 2025 and I’ve been coming back ever since! Arguably the best bbq in the Quad Cities, though it’s technically just outside the cites in Colona. In fact, it’s located inside Colona Scott Family Park campground. You just follow the main campground entrance road to the big building (they are on the lower level). They have a small indoor dining area, as well as a nice outdoor patio with picnic tables. They now take credit card, cash, and there’s an ATM on site as well. Sometimes you have to wait because they get pretty busy (especially right when they open), but it’s worth the wait! Phenomenal BBQ! Staff was incredibly friendly. Outdoor seating available with a vew of the ponds and campground. Food is amazing. Melt in your mouth BBQ and the baked beans are fantastic. Can't wait to go back and try their smash burgers.

There’s nothing more I need to say than: Paint’s may legitimately be the best bbq I’ve ever had. The food has always been great and the service is even better. Couldn’t recommend this business enough and it’s a must have restaurant in the QC area.
