I would give zero stars if I could. I ordered a Kpop Demon Hunters theme cake from the establishment for my daughters birthday. We agreed to the cake being purple/pink, have stats, and music notes. I also purchased cake toppers and additional decor to make the theme come to life. They ASSURED me their team has done many Kpop demon hunters cakes and it would be great. The cake I received was SO disappointing and sloppy and not worth the $350 I paid. I did not say anything at pickup as I needed to check my records and digest a bit on what I got. It was white and pink cake. No stars. And a weird looking gold decor element that was not discussed or approved. There were also obvious messy parts. I had passed up my usual place (Pie Jacked) and decided to swing by this place for the first time 2 days ago as it popped up in a search for gluten-free desserts and I didn't want to turn around. It was easy to find, super cute inside and the lady at the counter was very kind and helpful. I grabbed the last 2 gluten-free cookies which were huge, 1 gluten-free cake pop, and 2 regular cake pops for my son. He loved his cake pops. The gluten-free one was delicious as well. It took me 2 days to get through 1 of the gluten-free cookies. I had planned on enjoying half of the last GF cookie tonight and that's where the disappointment hit. I pulled the cookie out of the bag and as I broke off a piece, I saw a long strand of black hair partially embedded in the cookie and in the solidifed chocolat

A friend chose Paige’s Bakehouse for our catch‑up, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The space is bright, welcoming, and quiet enough to let a conversation breathe. Staff greeted us right away. They offered a rich assortment of goodies, which includes gluten‑free and vegan choices. I picked up a gluten‑free vegan brownie for my son, who was home with the flu, and he gave it a thumbs‑up. Service was quick, coffee was solid, and we had no trouble hearing each other. Easy parking out front also helped keep the stress level low. If you are looking for a spot in Downtown Round Rock where you can talk comfortably and leave with something sweet, Paige’s is a smart choice.

My mistake was visiting Paige’s the first time because now I can’t help myself from visiting every time I visit RR library or take my sons to their guitar lessons up the road. The full size cookies are delectable (the cookie butter is my favorite). The mini-cakes are all good. I’ve tried most of the flavors between visits, treats for birthday parties, and goodies for baby showers. And I even adore their frosted sugar cookies. I was hesitant to buy them at first due to past experiences with like every other bakery where the cookie and the highly decorative frosting are almost too tough to bite through—not so with Paige’s! I’ve used them for 3 different functions now (2 baby showers and a gender reveal) and I’m never disappointed! The team hits the nail on the head every time based on the inspiration photos I send in. They are also so accommodating to order adjustments, even last minute ones if the adjustment allows. The cookies always taste great! I’ll always use Paige’s for fancy cookies!
