Padula's Ice Cream

Wife took my 5 years old son there for lunch and was served a $4 hot dog that had to be sitting around for who knows how long(see pic). She went back down to return it and they gave her $4 and shut the window on her without any apology or explanation. Reached out to their page got a response was told would get a call from the owner. Still nothing. Plenty of other more affordable and family friendly ice cream/quick lunch shops.

Just went with the kids for ice cream at 2pm, sign says open, no one there after waiting at the window for 10/15 mins with many others wondering.. open or not?

The people are nice enough... Certainly not overly friendly. The product is ok. Neither my banana malt, nor my Snickers flurry were good enough to order again. The location sucks unless you live close enough to walk, and except for the sugar free vanilla ice cream, this place offers no reason to drive. Still, sugar free ice cream is a rare treat! So I drive there.

Nice corner shop, with good ice cream, that's been in business for years. That's something to be proud of especially in this economy! I remember walking groups of children here during summer months as a daycare teacher for a special treat 20 years ago!❤

This place is not worth visiting. In fact it may actually result in food poisoning. I visited today and over heard the owner, Margi, discussing with someone in the back about how to make sour (meaning spoiled) tasting soft serve okay to use in the machine again. This is on top of the run down appearance of the place. Save yourself the money and go literally anywhere else for Icecream. (Name is not posted as I am a local and the people here don’t like criticism)
