Pacific Restaurant

Went for happy hour. There are reviews talking about 5 dollar appetizers and drinks. They are older and the prices have gone up. There was a live band and they were excellent, including a bass player on a six string bass! The fish and chips was literally one fish, but it tasted amazing. Wife had the fruit salad and said it was also amazing. Two beers, two Moscow mules. 50 bucks plus tips. They have a couple of younger servers who can’t serve alcohol. So it took a long time to get drinks. Like 20 minutes. We were on vacation time, so it didn’t matter, but thought it was worth a mention. The server was super nice and apologetic, so nothing against her.

The flavor was very good. We had temperature issues with the food. The drinks were delicious

Incredible food, their French Onion soup was one of the most amazing renditions of French onion I have ever eaten. The atmosphere is a mix of two different restaurants in one space. A lively café, and a relaxed but high quality restaurant vibe with no walls to divide them. I will return for more, the next time im in town.

Came in for breakfast and had to get our own water. Oh that’s just a start. We sat and ordered it took about 15 to 20 minutes before getting our food and we were the only people in the restaurant. After getting our food was cold. Not one person came by to see how things were. Had to ask for everything including silverware and salt and pepper. We waited on our self’s more then they did. Very bad service. For a fancy place that give you cloth napkins it was the worst i have ever had. Eggs were cooked to done.

If I could give them 6 stars I would. We tried a bunch of places this week and most are forgettable. This place though - wow - wish we would have discovered this gem earlier in the week. Great venue with live music and the food just ridiculous. Easily the best crab cakes I’ve had - ever. Salmon was amazing. My son had the truffles pork and gigli pasta that was stick to your bones good. Then the desert... we may have to come back to the coast just for the food.
