P & R Jamaican Restaurant and Ice Cream Parlor

The food is mediocre, though woman on the phone was very nice. There were no oreos inside the fried oreos, just cream which i was confused by. All the food items were also a bit soggy and greasy and there wasn't a great amount of flavor. No item stuck out to me in particular but i did get some patties and ackee. I do like the items they offer so I hope they do a revamp with their recipes

They’re definitely not getting my money again. They over charge for beef patties, charge you for something you didn’t ask for, and the chicken they gave my mother was hard. $30 for trash food is ridiculous. Never going back here again.

Get all the flavor of Jamaica without the jet lag. This place does it right. The thing that intrigues me is that all Jamaican beef patty places in Boston have bullet proof windows why is this?

AVOID THIS PLACE! The workers at this place are the reason it is hard to support local black business . They acted like they were doing me a service to make my food , eyerolls , huffing and puffing , slamming your hand on the counter multiple times . The food was not great at all. I ordered jerk chicken and it does not look like it at all more like stew chicken . Weird smell as well . I would never go back and if I could have I would request a refund because overall this

So P&R in mattapan is great.... but the one on Dudley street need to fire there cook they got over there. I order large curry goat and rice and peas. The rice is nasty the got is rubbery the cabbage is plain. No seasoning on the food only thing good there is ice cream.
