Oyster House

We stopped by Oyster Bar at Philadelphia Airport because the atmosphere immediately caught our attention. From the very beginning, both the server and the manager at the entrance were incredibly welcoming, attentive, and genuinely kind. We ordered the clam chowder (Boston-style), a crab cake, French fries with sauce, and chicken wings served with pickled vegetables. Everything was absolutely delicious. The food was refined, well-balanced, and clearly made with quality ingredients. What stood out the most was the service. The entire team was warm, polite, and truly caring, which is not something you often experience in an airport restaurant. I almost missed my flight when my bartender & mixologist, Andrea, assembled a couple of her signature drinks with the finest ingredients. This intimate gem provides an essential way to pass the time when you’re getting into vacation mode!

I had a cozy spot in the corner to relax and wait for my flight. Chowder and calamari were both amazing. Service was fantastic- friendly and attentive. This restaurant was a perfect stop in the airport for a bite to eat and to just relax.

Chose this spot at the airport believing it’d be a more reputable, upscale experience with quality service. The waiter was very flighty and forgot several things, mostly focused on watching TV, and handed me an extremely watered-down shot of tequila for $14 with sugar on the rim instead of salt. When I told them the tequila was obviously watered down, they brought another drink that was less watered down but still very clearly watered down. I’d think for a place that comes off as upscale and charges higher prices, you should be able to expect to get what you pay for. Apparently not. Would never recommend this spot.

I was excited until I ordered a $21 salad with shrimp and it came out looking like this. I understand it’s airport food but cmon
