Oyster Bar

I had a wonderful experience at the Oyster Bar in Quincy Market. The service was excellent and very accommodating. We wanted to enjoy lobster, and the staff kindly allowed me to finish food from another vendor at the table, which was a pleasant surprise. We tried two different types of clam chowder, both of which were delicious and full of flavor. The lobster rolls were also very good—fresh, generously filled, and beautifully prepared. I sampled a wine before ordering, and the one I chose paired nicely with the meal, even if wine prices in the U.S. tend to be a bit high. Overall, it was a fantastic afternoon that we truly enjoyed. Highly recommended!

The lobster roll is great. Very tasty, with hot oil, and potato chips. The service is excellent, they cook it very quickly. I definitely recommend trying it.

The Seafood Chowder is delicious, and the Lobster Bisque is very good, but the Lobster Roll seemed a little fishy and tougher than others I’ve had in New England.

We visited on a Wednesday in mid-June 2025 for dinner. We saw that this restaurant was right next to Wicked Lobsta and also had a lobster bisque but at a significantly lower price. So we though maybe we'll order this here and everything else over there. Well, sadly the soup was very meh. We also order a bread bowl on the side for a to-go order. The soup was cheaper but not sure if it would've been better than what we would've gotten over at the other establishment. We didn't try anything else so it's hard to say anything about the rest of their food but I would stay away from the lobster bisque. Better food options to spend your money on. I would certainly come back here to try other things on their menu but my review is based solely on their lobster bisque. Staff was good and atmosphere

Oyster bar was a fine experience. Food was average for such a place. Hot buttered lobster roll cheaper than the other places inside Quincy Market. Service was very good. Quincy Market itself was pretty cool with great ambience and seating spaces.
