Oxon Hill Branch Library, PGCMLS

The Oxon Hill library is very serene and quiet, which makes it the perfect place to relax and enjoy being surrounded by books. I always feel at peace when I visit. The staff is pretty cool—while they don’t seem overly excited to assist, they are present and available if you need them. Overall, a nice spot for some calm and focus.

Very convenient, clean and staff was very helpful and polite. Ample parking. I only used the computer and prining seevice...There was no waiting and the process albeit not totally intuitive, was efficient. I will be back to explore more offerings!!

I’m not sure why PG Country has such messily library hours, not many cafe and work spaces, yet the lowest test scores in all the suburbs surrounding DC (Fairfax, Arlington, Montgomery etc.). It makes no sense, having to drive around trying to find a place to study in this county. Librarian greeted me seemingly proud that they did not open until 12 today. What are the librarians doing in there that they don’t do in the closest 5 counties? They are no bigger with more services. I hope PGC gets their priorities together.

I felt like I have been given the round around at this library. All I wanted was 2 documents printed for my 2 boys' homeschooling. I did ALL the instructions that's circled in white to the T and today on 10/4/2022 I come to pick them up only to find out there's "another set of instructions" in order to print them.....seriously?! I was NOT told that yesterday and I feel like I was talking to a brick wall when you kept asking if I had it on my phone, when I repeatedly said, "the files are too big to be on my phone." listen!! I felt like no one wasn't really helping me when you could see how stressed out I was, and was having trouble connecting my laptop so I gave up and left. Everyone needs to be on the same page so you don't give someone one thing while another person says something else. W
