Outpost Neighborhood Tavern

Great place for Southern comfort foods. The yucca fries are a must try item! The veggie burger is house made (not Impossible) and one of the best I've ever had. Friendly service, and the outside seating area faces the lake for a spectacular sunset view!

Accidentally stopped by the Outpost Neighborhood Tavern for lunch as they allowed dogs in their outdoor areas. The first thing to note is that everyone here, from workers to patrons, are strong members of the LGBTQ+++ community. Some are functional members and some, like us, are part of the support team. If you find that offensive, I’ll be glad to not enjoy a future meal with YOU people. Our server, Holden, was courteous and positive. He guided our decisions which ensured our selections were perfect. My wife and I had amazing craft drinks from the bar and enjoyed separate salads with chicken. The chicken was moist and hot and the salad fresh. We never felt rushed and we cannot wait to enjoy this amazing environment yet again. And tell them I wish them continued success and prosperity.

A lot of good options, delicious food and great location to meet up with friends, or grabbing something to eat solo. Our server Glitter was amazing we loved her! The chicken sandwich was a bit greasy which I didn’t like. Anything else was great though ;) my friends enjoyed their drinks as well. They have dart boards and a fun environment inside too.

The Outpost was an absolute delight! We enjoyed a lovely evening on the patio, starting with refreshing drinks—a robust margarita and the intriguing “Grand Theft Autum.” For dinner, we indulged in the Mojo Pulled Pork and the Blue Ridge Burger. Admittedly, I was a bit hesitant about the blue cheese, but it turned out to be a non-issue; the flavors were fantastic! The pork served over rice was incredibly moist, and I nearly forgot to share my side of greens because it was just that good. A special shoutout to our amazing server, ✨Glitter! She brought a warm and relaxed vibe to our experience, offering excellent suggestions that enhanced our meal. Overall, it was a delightful dining experience that I highly recommend!

We had the pleasure of attending the Drag Bruch. We had a large group. Service was fantastic food was amazing and drinks were awesome. They serve a wide array of southern comfort food and even had a vegetarian option. The drag queens put on a great show and it was so much fun! Would definitely go back and recommend!!!
