Every time we visit the Outer Banks, we stop here for oysters and shrimp. Unfortunately, today’s service did not match the positive experiences we’ve had in the past. The young man working at the counter made us feel unwelcome from the start. When I asked what kinds of oysters were available, he ran to the refrigerator, opened the boxes by throwing the lids on the floor, and then left us standing there to decide what we wanted without any explanation or guidance. The whole interaction felt rushed, dismissive, and frankly rude. Good food matters, but so do basic customer service skills. We should not forget to be kind to each other.

Very well stocked, fresh seafood market. Nice selection featuring LOCAL seafood, depending on what's being caught of course. They also have essentials like boiling pots, spices and seasonings, snacks and drinks and ice too. Family run business with great local ties. Friendly folks to wait on you.

Be cautious! They sell dead crab to customers. I heard this store from my friends and thought they had good reputation. When I visit OBX for a trip, I marked their store as a must go place. I was extremely disappointed. I bought 6 crabs, I believed in them and didn’t check the crabs. There are three issues: 1. Three crabs have only one claw. This is fine. 2. Not all the crabs are the size they showed to me. Two of them are very small even smaller than legal size for NC salt water recreational limit. 3. Two of the crabs are dead and one of them stinks. It means the two crabs are dead and at least one is dead for a long time. I put them in a cooler with ice and the ice was still there when I arrived home. So the crabs must be already dead when they sold to me. This point is absolute unaccept
