Customer Reviews
My husband and I stopped here for lunch. I was about two bites into my meatball hoagie and bit into something hard, almost like a bone. It ended up being a piece of glass. Our waitress was so sweet and kind, very apologetic. She said the manager felt bad but the manager never came out to say anything. They did remake my meal but I was a bit nervous to eat it. Food was okay. But for $52 and glass in my food - it really wasn’t worth it. The waitress was fantastic though! She was a sweetheart.
We LOVE Out of The Ordinary and Hickory Bar! ☺️ Their pork tenderloin was SO good and huge! It has a fun atmosphere with lots of exposed wood and green plants. The staff was super friendly and our waiter was fantastic! I absolutely recommend stopping by if you're in the area.
Flip of a coin whether you'll like the food here. The reviews are all mixed opinions, and my family experienced the same thing. I liked my pulled pork sandwich, but the pork tenderloin and Cuban were just alright. The pulled pork was well-seasoned and juicy, a nice thick layer on a soft bun. I paid $4 extra for the side of onion rings (which were very good) and I liked putting some on my sandwich. The pork tenderloin was tender and the vegetable side was fine, but neither made much of an impression. Veggie of the day was zucchini, peppers, and onions. The Cuban sandwich didn't have much meat on it but tasted okay as well. The side of chips were just regular ruffled potato chips. Overall our experience was ordinary, and didn't leave a strong impression one way or another.
The staff are very friendly and helpful.. makes this restaurant feels like visiting family. The food is great, I would recommend the fettuccine with steak. Wow!
I got the tenderloin with onion rings, my boyfriend got the steak sandwich with fries. Both were wonderful- especially the fries and onion rings. The onion rings came with a sauce very similar to outback’s bloomin onion sauce. The tenderloin was on the thicker side which isn’t my preference but it was still good. We also got loaded potato skins as an appetizer which were great- I think probably my favorite park of the meal. They have a great house-made ranch. Our host and server were both very sweet and provided great, fast service. Everything came fresh and hot, and in very good time. I’ll definitely come back here next time I’m in the area!
