Our Station House

I drove up from Florida to visit my daughter for a 21st birthday which was on October 5th. We tried to go to another place in Johnstown initially, but ended up leaving and decided to try this place. I'm SO glad we did. The bartender was incredibly friendly as soon as we walked in the door, and told us to have a seat anywhere. There was several booths as well as tables and then of course they had the bar seating. Our waitress came over and was incredibly polite, and my daughter was able to order her first alcoholic drink. She got a caramel apple mudslide I believe and she thought it was really good. I tried one of the local hazy IPAs which was also phenomenal. What a great little place to grab a bit to eat and a drink. The atmosphere was great and the service was the best I have had! Very attentive and friendly. Food was great but the portion sizes were a tad small. Would definitely recommend.

They have a great menu. The crab cakes were delicious and the ribs fell off of the bone. The staff was friendly and helpful and the atmosphere is phenomenal. Several tv screens to watch the games and the beer is ice cold.

Well, this time our experience wasn't exactly pleasant at this place. First of all, it was really cold inside! We sat at first by the window, so you can feel the cold air woozing and making you freeze to death. Then we changed tables where's no windows, but coldness is coming from the floor and walls. Man, I wasn't freezing in any places lately like in here. Ok, after that my husband ordered a meatballs with broccoli and green beans. He said his meatloaf was small & flavorless, for some reason they brought mashed potatoes which were runny and broccoli was cold inside, like in freezer temperature. I mean they brought later his green beans too. Alright, my daughter ordered grilled chicken salad, and I'm not sure what was wrong with chicken but it surely didn't look good to eat, so we left

They were very busy when we first arrived about 1:30 pm on a Saturday. Three staff working the bar and tables. We were acknowledged quickly and given menus. All were very friendly. Awesome food, I had the open faced turkey sandwich with mashed potatoes and gravy. My husband had the special, ribs with sweet corn on the cob and coleslaw followed by the chocolate peanut butter pie, which I forgot to take a picture of the dessert. He loved it.
