Otsuka Sushi hibachi Dinner AYCE

This spot is a great lunch or dinner option if you are at the hospital or on campus! Their hibachi bowls are amazing and last me for 2 meals. Bento box is a good option too! You can be in and out in <45 minutes so great spot if you need a quick bite!

Decided to come here on my lunch break and loved it. Surprisingly it wasn’t super busy. I was seated quickly and ordered steamed gyoza (which I devoured & was pretty much gone before I took a photo) and a chicken teriyaki bento box. It was the perfect meal. Everything was fresh and made to order. The service was great. The waiter answered all my questions (as I have a shellfish allergy) and was patient. I ended my lunch with a mango milk tea and it’s so refreshingly delicious. I’m not a fan of tapioca pearls but I really enjoyed them in this drink. I took the photo of my tea as I was walking back to work and busted my butt by literally tripping off the curb of the road very shortly after lol and I went back to otsuka ramen, showed him my cup that looked shredded to pieces (I’m telling you

As an out of towner visiting, I enjoyed very much the meal that I got here. The variety of the menu was great though more people seemed to order fried rice. I got the dragon roll and a California roll and was not disappointed! Food was delicious, service was great, but I didn’t appreciate as much that visibility of the kitchen/food prep are.

Came here while visiting Birmingham. Their drinks were real good (tried Brown Sugar Milk Tea, Taro Milk Tea, and Mango Fruit Tea). They were refreshing and didn't taste artificial. Very quick service and yummy dishes (Spicy Curry Ramen, Tonkotsu Shoyu Ramen, and Katsu Don). They had good serving sizes. Glad we came here. Hopefully we can eat here again if we come back.

Otsuka was amazing 10/10! The service was excellent and the food did not disappoint. My top picks were the Spicy Curry Ramen Bowl, the Shrimp & Chicken Hibachi, Calamari and the Deep Fried Tempura Sushi Rolll. And don’t forget the Chinese donuts — perfectly seasoned and sooo good! 😋
