Othello Deli

I am writing to express my disappointment with my recent experience at Othello's Deli. I ordered a hot plate with salmon, peppers, and sweet potato. Unfortunately, the salmon was overcooked, dry, and had an unpleasant odor. Additionally, the zucchini was burned and inedible. When I brought these issues to the attention of the staff member at the counter, I was informed that the food is always prepared in this manner and that there was no option for a replacement. This response was both unexpected and unsatisfactory.

Ordered pick up on grub hub. Everything was tasty. Nice clean deli. I’d come back. Sandwich was good and meaty btw. I don’t like too much meat on my sandwiches but it’s all good, I appreciate the portion.

Been a customer for years, I like the place for its convenient location, the food is okay, it’s a Deli, I don’t expect it to be as good as a restaurant. Used to get whatever needed from there without asking how much, the pricing was reasonable, however they jacked up the prices significantly, I understand the supplies, rent… etc went up but come on! the grilled chicken sandwich that used to cost $8-$9 now is $13!! This applies to all of the items. Everything went up by $2-$3, imagine how much would it cost you now if you pick up few items daily from this place! To top it off, now you have to SPEND $10 minimum to pay with card!! Credit or debit, it doesn’t matter if you go there couple of times a day, you still have to spend $10 every time you step in! Lmao. Who carry cash nowadays? lets no

Went with my sister and cousin. I ordered a Turkey on the grill with american cheese, lettuce, salt, pepper, and little bit vinegar. We were driving for like 5-10 minutes before we could find a corner store with a grill. It has a lot of tv with a decent variety of sandwiches. There were other dishes in the displays but I’ve never eaten them or heard of them before. There wasn’t anyone in front of us so we got our food fast. There wasn’t a variety or the classic nyc chips available. We stopped at another bodega for candy and chips. I forgot to take a pic of the sandwich :/

The two Spanish male workers at the front are incredibly rude. They pick and choose who to serve first, based on who they seem to like, and completely ignore others. It's beyond frustrating. On top of that, the prices are ridiculous for what you get. Definitely won't be coming back!
