Osteria Procaccini - Crosswicks

We ordered takeout from Osteria Procaccini after hearing a great deal of hype and made a point to visit after traveling from Ohio. As restaurant managers ourselves, we were genuinely looking forward to the experience and were willing to wait, expecting the quality to reflect the restaurant’s reputation. Unfortunately, it did not. We ordered the Brussels sprouts appetizer, which arrived bland and overcooked, lacking both seasoning and texture. The lamb skewers were extremely tough and nearly impossible to chew. We also ordered the Nonna Flora Sandwich, which was advertised as coming with a choice of side; however, there was no option provided. Instead, it arrived drenched in what appeared to be coleslaw, with no mention of this on the menu. The excess moisture made the sandwich completely

We came to Osteria on a Wednesday night with the kids and had a fantastic meal. Inside had a warm and cozy feel, making a great spot to enjoy dinner. We ordered the garlic Parmesan wings, garlic knots, Pizza Dora, and a margarita pizza—everything was delicious! The standout dishes were definitely the garlic Parmesan wings and the margarita pizza, both packed with great flavor. The pizza crusts were thin and crunchy, along with the sauce made it a great bite. It was also a nice bonus that a couple of the items were on the happy hour menu, making them an even better deal. The quality of the food, combined with reasonable prices and a welcoming atmosphere, makes this a spot we’ll definitely be returning to. Highly recommend!

This place is a hidden treasure. I loved it and will definitely come back. The waiter was terrific and friendly. Best Pizza in the area and I’ve had them all so I know, pizza is my favorite food. I have been there four times now and not once was I disappointed. Great place .

This is what they’re calling shrimp scampi. Omg, it was so flavorless. Please do yourself a favor and do not order this dish!

Amazing service, their margarita sauce is the bomb! The daily dessert specials are a must have. Nice family owned place with good ambience.
