Osteria Padre Pio

Finally made it here for dinner with my wife after wanting to try it for a while. The restaurant was busy, but with a reservation we were seated right away. Parking took a little effort since spots out front and across the street were full, but we found street parking after a second pass. From the outside it looks small, but once inside it opens up with multiple dining areas, including additional seating in the back. Service was attentive and professional throughout. They start you with eggplant caponata, a nice welcoming touch. We shared the Four Cheese Arancini and a grilled calamari and shrimp special. Phenomenal experience! We scheduled a lunch meeting here and boy were we in for a treat. Chef Andrea and his staff took excellent care of us. Each dish we tasted was more delicious than the next (somehow!) You can tell that Chef Andrea selects quality ingredients and puts so much love into every dish. Highlights were the Eggplant Caponata, Arancini (probably the best we've ever had), Seafood Salad, Spaghettini allo Scoglio, Chicken Piccata and Tiramisu. Even the olive oil and espresso were to die for. If you're looking for authentic Italian food, do not skip this place! Oh and Padre Pio is woven into every corner, so it feels even more special.

One of the few Italian owned Italian restaurants in Westchester. Seven of us enjoyed every dish we had. Mouthwatering, fresh, and prepared to perfection. The sauces were so flavorful. Our toughest critic said it was the best chicken scarpriello was the best she’s ever had. Chef Andrea and his wife are quite the team. The staff is very friendly, attentive and accommodating. Make sure to put this at the top of your list of restaurants to visit!

This place was nice, with a few missteps, but overall, it earned 4 stars. The restaurant has two areas with the real dining room in the back. It’s got a rustic feel. They weren’t busy when we went so the back only had a few tables taken. The staff is nice and attentive. They were warm and familiar, which suits the vibe. There are definitely a few off putting things in their menu, which is a shame because it sort of set the evening on a sour note. The menu has a note about charging 4% for credit cards due to the credit card company fees, but then also includes “you can always pay cash!” For a more upscale restaurant, what seemed an admonition for paying with a credit card was ridiculous. We were looking for a good Italian spot last minute and decided to try Osteria Padre Pio after hearing great things. From start to finish, everything was excellent. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, the service was top-notch, and the food was outstanding. The steak was cooked to perfection, and every dish was full of flavor. A nice surprise was when Chef Andrea came out to greet us personally—such a thoughtful touch. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for authentic Italian cuisine and a memorable dining experience!
