We were excited to try Osteria Mozza and we were very pleased. I questioned being sat in the side space lined with windows, but it was actually a very nice place to be. It's always been a gorgeous building, and space in this restaurant is a real pleasure. The designers did an incredible job of making a larger than life space feel intimate. Our server was very personable and had a good understanding of the menu. The menu itself had a lot of variety, and we could definitely return multiple times and have very different experiences in food combinations - either small app/share combinations or larger entrees.

Excellent high-end Italian in Georgetown. A great addition to NW DC dining scene. Top notch vibe, food and service. They hit it out of the park. Vibrant scene competes with Cafe Milano, and better food and decor. For appetizers, order the focaccia and the burrata - both are excellent. For mains, the hanger steak and the tagliatelle bolognese were both perfectly prepared. For dessert, recommend the rosemary olive oil cakes and tiramisu. Overall really impressed - highly recommend this “it” place in Georgetown. Make reservations well ahead.

Osteria Mozza DC is a high-end destination in Georgetown serving rich, comforting Italian fare in a warm, sophisticated setting. The Food 🫓 The Highlight: The Focaccia Di Recco topped with prosciutto di parma was AMAZING. The flaky layers and melted cheese were complemented by the rich, thin slices of prosciutto. 🐟 The Fish: The delicious Branzino Alla Piastra was served mostly de-boned and laid flat with a perfectly crisp skin. A really well executed dish. 🍝 The Pastas: Both the Mafaldine (oxtail ragu) and the Orecchiette (sausage) were hearty, satisfying dishes with medium-sized portions. 🍨 Dessert: The Butterscotch Budino was the table favorite. The rich and slightly bitter caramel sauce really "sang" through the dish. 🧀 Burrata & Braised Leeks: The leeks were a bit tough (hard to

The interior & ambience of this Italian restaurant is lovely. Near the entrance, there's a small market where you can purchase olive oils, pasta, Italian sodas, & other pantry items. We had reservations & sat in the enclosed outdoor area. My friend loves this restaurant & has probably eaten there at least 10 times. It was the first time eating there for me & my boyfriend. Portions were generous. I ordered the branzino. The highlight of my meal was the apple crumble dessert to be honest. So good. The waiters & staff were all very friendly.

It might have been the atmosphere, company or time of year but Osteria Mozza, was above and beyond my expectations for a quick stop. We didn’t have reservations and the hostess was more than kind getting us a table quickly and with the sweetest demeanor. Once seated we started ordering a bevy of plates, grissini, the brussel sprouts and the grilled octopus. All were hits, perfect bites to get the appetite going. The char on the octopus and the brightness of the lemon was a perfect contrast. Also, the butter on the grissini, under the prosciutto was next level richness. Onto the mains, the oxtail pasta and the tagliolini were deliciously executed. The oxtail pasta in a rich rage with perfectly cooked pasta. The generous amount of black truffles layered on the tagliolini is a value for its p
