Osmanthus Dim Sum Lounge

A nice spot for dim sum. The selection isn’t very large, but I actually appreciated that — sometimes too many options can be overwhelming. Everything we tried was tasty and well prepared. I also had the lychee cocktail, which was pleasant and refreshing — not a big “wow” moment, but definitely solid. Overall, a good place to stop by for a satisfying dim sum meal.

An unbelievably delicious meal here. We ordered too much for two people, but all of it was so good that we couldn't stop eating. We ordered the garlic noodles, peeking duck, fried fish and shrimp balls, and the spicy coconut fish broth. My personal favorites were the garlic noodles and spicy coconut fish broth. Both just bursting with flavor. I'd definitely order both again. The service was very quick, friendly, and attentive with no wait. They provided good recommendations and helped us to make a game plan.

Long overdue and much deserved review. Highly recommended If you’re ever in SF! Imagine it’s Saturday morning, you wake up in your comfy pajamas, make a nice cup of your favorite drink about to dig into your favorite breakfast. It’s the feeling you get eating here. Freshly made dim sum? Yes, please! The bbq baked buns…speechless. Soup dumplings…heck yes. (Best eaten 2 minutes after it’s dropped on the table so you don’t burn your tongue.) Chicken Wings here are a gem. I don’t care how much I order, this belongs on the MUST order list. The flavor is phenomenal. The crisp IS CRISPIN’. Delicious tea selection, go figure because they’re tea connoisseurs and have a shop in Chinatown!! It’s called Vital Tea and they freakin have free tea tasting so you don’t have to guess what you’re taking

Excellent dim sum. All the dishes were very tasty. The turnip cake felt genuinely homemade and was savory enough on its own that it didn't need any dipping sauce. The sesame balls were incredible. The mochi filling was perfectly dense and chewy, not hollow or airy like at so many other places. Hands down, it's the best sesame ball I've ever had! Highly recommended.

I hosted one of my 222 parties at Osmanthus Dim Sum, and the night was such a success! The restaurant had the perfect atmosphere for our group — great music, cozy space, and a vibe that made it easy for everyone to connect. The food and drinks were amazing, especially the tea-infused cocktails, which became a highlight of the night. The staff was super attentive and made sure everything flowed smoothly so we could focus on enjoying the party. A big shoutout to Hermen, the owner — he’s incredibly nice and so easy to work with. He really went out of his way to make sure everything was set up just right for us. If you’re looking for a spot in San Francisco with delicious dim sum, creative cocktails, and a welcoming atmosphere, Osmanthus is definitely worth checking out.
