Osaka Steak & Sushi House

We enjoy this place every time we come... the place is a bit rundown but the food is awesome and the waitresses are friendly and helpful.

The food really is top-notch here, especially when the sushi options of western Kansas are a touch limited. Went in here with my wife and my 2 younger kids for dinner. So my last visit and review told of feeling ignored, as our service was slower than others arriving after us. Today was even worse. The lady seating people tried to seat the group in line behind us before us. When both groups voiced our displeasure, she ignored us and did anyway. By the time our food arrived, almost all the groups that been behind us in line had been served, eaten, and left, and the line was about 30 minutes long. This is becoming a problem, as this is the second visit in a row that this has happened. I had previously rated as 4 star, but now the excellent food isn't enough to offset the poor service

This place is extremely inconstant, sometimes they make food that is good while most of the time something is wrong. No eel sauce on half the sushi, bad customer service, wrong order, order food to pick up but forget to tell us they’re out of something, forget to put crab meat in the rolls. I get it, they make mistakes, but they don’t like to fix their mistakes either. Also it’s a fairly new building and the bathrooms stink like sewer. I’ve also seen the kitchen and I’m almost for sure it wouldn’t pass the health code inspection now. The cooks are always outside smoking. Half the waiters look pissed off, while the others are happy and bubbly. Half the building is closed off and at times it can get busy, you’d think after years of running into the same problem of having no where to sit peop

The food tasted like a dirty grill. The chicken had black specks all throughout it. It definitely wasn’t pepper. The seats definitely cannot be clean as the plastic is peeling. This restaurant used to be good. I definitely was disappointed.

we drove 1 hour to have some good sushi, when we got to this place we had a server who was nice at first. After we asked for spicy mayo, we never saw her again. She would come back to the table NEXT to us but wouldn’t acknowledge us! Wouldn’t come here again!
