I traveled to Louisiana for my business trip in June 2023. I have stayed at Village Studios many times before with great satisfaction. This time was no different. My suite was very nice and clean. The queen size bed was very comfortable giving me refreshing sleep during my stay. My suite was cleaned daily and my towels were replaced also.||The staff at Village Studios is always nice and friendly. When I travel to south Louisiana for business or pleasure, I always stay at Village Studios. This is because I can always count on great service and efficient staff to make my stay a total pleasure.

Incredible place to stay in a historic area of the bayou state, a stones throw from Baton Rouge. The location itself is historically where Paul Newman met Joanne Woodward in the “The Long, Hot Summer” & they married afterwards! Beautiful landscape & accommodations were top notch with Southern hospitality. Highly recommended!

This is a beautiful place set in the hills of East Feliciana Parish, Louisiana. My suite included a large and and very nice bedroom and bathroom. The kitchenette and living room were spacious and great for relaxation.||The “magic” of Village Studios is Mackies. This is the bar/resturant on the premises housed in an updated 180 year old building. Guests can meet over a drink or meal to discuss their day or stay.||In addition, Village Studios is only 25 minutes from Baton Rouge, LA.||I highly recommend Village Studios.||David Greenwood

Room #10 Charming Dump, looks cute until you get up close & personal with the filth & grime. The cleaning lady tidy up our personal belongings (placed my toothbrush under the sink with the toilet bowl cleaning wand) but left all the years of filth & grime. The little lizard was the best part of the week stay. Neither the window ac unit nor the heat emitter fire place is efficient in heating & cooling the place. Worst place I have ever had to endure. Couldn't wait for our off day to get out-of this place. Do yourself a favor & rent from the hotel in Zachary. P.S. No telling what is growing from the leaking pipe under the place. They pretend like the had no clue about, although the board were already removed. Don't use the rotten porch, your liable to fall through. There's already a hole.

I recently presented at a conference in Baton Rouge and wanted to stay somewhere that was more off the beaten path. After staying three nights, I cannot say enough about how wonderful my stay was. It was private and felt very safe, walking around the grounds was an adventure, and the accommodations were perfect. Comfortable sleeping, hot showers, the ability to cook, room to spread out, Louisiana air to breathe, and a view of the stars you certainly don't get in the city!||The hosts were wonderful, super friendly (and funny), and great to chat with in the bar. Every need I had was met. I look forward to going back someday and staying in another room as they are all decorated differently. It was definitely the best stay I've had in a very long time. Thanks!
