Ormond Public Beach Access

This is a great place where your fur babies can legally visit the beach. Cars still can drive on this section of the beach so dont take them off leash. Sand is firm and soft. The day I went the water was a little chilly for me but there were some dogs with their owners in the water as well.

Not busy or over crowded. The rental guy with chairs and umbrellas was so awesome! Best beach day!!!

use to be awesome free parking and nice pavilion. now $ 23.00 dollars parking and the sand is not the powdery sand like the past it’s more rocky. Zero chance of driving on the beach with out a Jeep. I have a 4 wheel drive lincoln navigator got stuck. My understanding it’s being dredged from the river don’t know how true. $35.00 to drive on the beach. I use like to park on the beach and walk to riptides to eat. not coming back too expensive for a run down beach town Daytona
