Oriental Express

This chinese food is by far the best in the north state! Its the only place I'll buy chinese food.. I live 30min away,, always worth the drive. The portions are extremely generous, gorgeous presentation, pride in creation, and we are never disappointed trying new menu items.. If you're passing through town and have an itch for some flavorful cuisine,, this is your scene.

Generous portions, great quality, tastes delicious, veggies are fresh and cooked to perfection, not soggy but cooked crisp. Never have I had a meal that disappoints. Prices are very reasonable for what you get. So many delightful choices.

Best Chinese food by far in shasta county. I come here all the time, and have been trying something new a lot of the times. I have yet to have something I don't like. Everything on the menu is great. They are always quick, give huge portions, and are very reasonably priced!

They've moved to a great new space across from where they used to be. The serving sizes are incredible the quality is through the roof. We like to place an order to go and take it with but there's plenty of room in the new shop to dine in. Highly recommended

I've been searching for my go-to restaurants since I got here. Then I learned that people drive from Redding to Shasta Lake for their Chinese food. I cannot believe how much food they cram into the box. It's literally the shape of the box when you open it. They must fill both sides and slam it closed. Theres big chunks of quality vegetables and meat everywhere. This produce is fresh and it shows. It crunches, the celery CRUNCHES! It's soooo delicious. When I first heard about it, I wasnt sure, because they were in a building attached to a gas station. I was like idk bro... but yes, bro. Yes. It's a testament to how good their food tastes. They graduated to a really nice location now, which is here. The new dining room is beautiful with really lovely abalone artwork. It's squeaky clean.
