I feel like I was really lucky to find this place! I went in to get my KitchenAid mixer of many years repaired as it had started leaking oil, the dough hook was scraping, and I had heard some bad noises from the motor. I called ahead to make sure that they could work on a non-commercial machine and they said yes they could do it in probably a couple days to a week for $60-120 depending on the issue. I definitely assumed it would be an expensive repair (although still worth it as anyone who has one of these knows)! So I brought it in and just as the trouble ticket was being written in came a friendly mechanic (I think his name was Kurt) who grabbed the machine and led me back into the shop. DO NOT GO HERE! I've been waiting over 8 weeks for my stand mixer to be repaired. I was quoted 1 week. I've called them around a dozen times to check the status and they have been terribly unresponsive. 5-6 times they said they would call me back and never did. They've told me "it'll be ready soon" or "it'll be ready tomorrow" weeks ago. On top of all this, their prices aren't cheap either. I should have repaired it myself or sent it to KitchenAid but I wanted it done faster which obviously isn't the case with Hobart. Update: The business’ response to this is a lie. The mixer was not sent in disassembled and had not had any prior repair attempts. In fact, the repair was sub-par and I had to learn to repair it myself after receiving it back from them because I wasn’t interested in dealing
