Orangeburg County Library

I've been working in Orangeburg for two years, and I absolutely love this library. Everyone I've met here is incredibly friendly. The front desk staff are helpful, the parents are polite, the children are innocent and adorable, and the notary public is professional, fair, and trustworthy. After verifying the facts, they provided me with a notarized document free of charge. Thank you all.

Enjoyed visiting the library and the activities. There were several classes for adults and Children’s offered throughout the week. There was story time, arts/crafts for the younger kids. There was activities for teens as well. The library has a great selection of books, both classics and new releases. The building is very modern and well layer out. The playground was hit for the younger kids.

We love the library. Our kids check out books all the time. We especially love all the activities they have for the kids. I wish they offered chess club during the week though.

Please tell your librarians to stop Talking so loud. They should not be flirting with other females. This is so inappropriate. People are trying to study and read. Be professional and polite. This is why orangeburg has a bad rep. Change your behavior.

Do NOT check out books from this library!!! I checked out 10 books from this library this month and ended up with bed bugs. They claim that they thoroughly check their books and spray them yet there have been previous patrons receipts in books I have checked out many times. The supervisor decided to charge me $107 to replace 4 of the books I had checked out because I notified them that they infested me with bed bugs.
