OPoke

Opokè is amazing. I’ve had poke in San Diego, Hawaii, Seattle, and Boston, all cities famous for seafood, and this place still ranks easily in my top five. I can not believe it’s in Denham springs Louisiana. The fish was fresh, the ingredients crisp, and the portion was huge. Every bite tasted clean and balanced. I travel often for work and go out of my way to find good poke wherever I am, and I can’t believe I didn’t know about Opokè in my own backyard sooner. Highly recommended for anyone who actually knows what good poke should taste like. 10/10 I will absolutely be returning. P.S. please get marinated mushrooms like Southfin on Perkins rd has.

OMG, this food was so delicious! Everything was fresh and flavorful, from the perfectly cooked shrimp to the crisp veggies and savory rice. I honestly devoured it within minutes because it was just that good. On top of that, the young guy who helped me was super kind and helpful, great customer service! I’ll definitely be coming back for more! This was around $13 something.

No vegetarian vegan option that I saw. I tried the shrimp and scallops Hibachi…. Scallops were not good at all…. Rest was nice.

I rushed in one night 15 minutes before closing 😬 and the lady was so kind and patient still. I got the “Under The Sea Bowl” because I’m a mermaid so, duh. It was DELICIOUS. Definitely adding to my favs list. Update: Still getting the Under the Sea Bowl. Still delicious and also just tried their dumplings. They were the best I've had in a long time! Love this place and the service is still impeccable. 💙🙏🏾💙

Wonderful food, service, and atmosphere. I had the habachi shrimp with fried rice and veggies it was delicious and filling!!
