Ono Hawaiian BBQ

First time trying spam musubi, now I don't know what it's supposed to taste like since first time as I said. But when I opened the box it REEKED of an overpowering fish smell. I picked it up, placed it back down, licked my fingers and it was one of the most horrendous fish tastes I've ever had the misfortune of tasting. Someone can educate me if spam musubi is SUPPOSED to be overpowering fish taste or not. But until then this was a horrendous experience. Couldn't even taste the spam over this terrible fish taste. Made no sense. Edit: the short ribs were horrendous too, fish taste as well. I can't stand that I paid money for this. Plus they gave me more bones than meat. One of the "short ribs" was pure bone, the meat had been sliced off and put elsewhere. Not in my meal. Horrendous location

I had this food at another location and it was delicious. Here it was not good. We hot there today shortly after it opened..we spent almost 40 on 2 number 2s and 2 drinks the serving size of the rice was like 3 oz. The meat was very overcooked and dry...the store was dirty looking. I saw the associates filling condiments from containers under the fountain area the garbages under the fountain area had food on outsides of them. The containers the condiments are kept in are dirty and also had food and debris like dirt on the outside. (Food safety concern) One of the menu signs was tilted and looks tacky...the number 2 chicken like I said was overcooked and unappealing..also the veggies were steamed ...were very dry no flavor...not appealing...hard to swallow tbh....all in all i felt the store

Very delicious! All the meats are very good and love the macaroni salad! I'm not big on plain white rice but it is so much better when you put the teriyaki sauce on it. You get a lot of food to fill you up. We sat outside in the shade, it was 90 degrees but there was a breeze and it was actually nice!

I hate that on the app there isn't more options to customize plates when ordering. I immediately called after placing an order on the app to let the employee know. But he misunderstood me and my order was completely wrong. Next time I'll definitely go in person to order. I also witnessed them dropping food on the floor while checking the orders that were on the counter. The food that was dropped wasn't replaced either.

Employees were visibly eating while cooking food scratching their noses and when I got my food it was subpar at best. I used to love this place but seems to have gone downhill. Sad
