Ono Hawaiian BBQ

I usually love coming here when I visit from Flagstaff. But this time around the cook gave me the worst part of the cabbage. It is very hard and not cooked. Bleh

One time, the food here was delicious. The meat was cooked perfectly it almost melted in your mouth, cabbage cooked, and not crunchy. BUT, EVERY OTHER TIME THE FOOD IS JUST GROSS. It's NEVER the same, and that's what's annoying. They must have bought CHEAPER MEAT, because now it's all grisley and full of fat. This was the last time I'll eat here. For the price I expect better quality and more meat. At least $30 for two people.

Although the food here was ok this location is pretty run down. This is definitely a location you get your food to go. I would rather make the drive to Mesa & eat at a newer location than order from here.

I had issue with an order placed on the Monday, prior to me returning that following Sunday. Which would be the conclusion and would resolve my issue. I placed an order for two chicken plates with extra vegetables. And received two pork plates instead. Due to religious and health issues and in fact I just had abdominal surgery a month prior. And was not able to eat that I was able to call in and they said that they would go ahead remake the place. Unfortunately I didn't get the messages near my talk to them and got Lost in translation that's the fact that I came in on Sunday instead of that same day. First off, I’ve always liked this place and loved the food. However, that changed as of today. I ordered through doordash and as I’m eating my food, I go and take a bite of my food when a piece of hair fell onto my lip (it wasn’t) and I take it off, a dead. roach. A DEAD ROACH! Don’t eat here and I most definitely believe this place needs to be inspected immediately.
