Ono Hawaiian BBQ

Pretty busy location! Walked in at 6:30 pm on a Sunday evening. There was about 10 customers waiting for their orders . The cashiers were fast paced and attentive to customers. The kitchen was organized and alert for order accuracy. Luckily, I placed an online order and it was ready within 10 minutes of arrival. The restaurant was clean and welcoming. I ordered the seafood mix plate and my wife ordered a BBQ chicken plate. The food was on point! Everything was fresh and delicious. Overall, i don't mind driving a little further to this location as my nearest location in Compton isn't as convenient due to parking. Grisselda G is the best! She made me feel welcome and was hard at work cleaning the dinning with a smile . She did a great job!

Thank you Ono H in Paramount for bringing back the Lenten specials! In this time of increasing food prices, this a vg relief on us on a budget! The Island white fish special is vg. Just salty for the Island spice grilled fish but still ok! Keep up the good work. God bless u, hard working staff!

I love thus place especially if you are watching your eatting intake they have a mini meal. This is so amazing, I also love the grill fish it has a good flavor.. everyone is so kind and polite I definitely recommend this place.

We went in to try out this branch. Same clean restaurant. The place wasn’t packed so we got our orders in for BBQ Chicken and BBQ Beef. The orders came out fast but noticed that the portions from this branch are smaller the kitchen only scattered the portions to make it look like it’s a lot. Comparing this to the store on Lakewood in Downey. We are not coming back to this branch anymore.

We usually order from this location and over time, the portion we get are less than what we always get. Today, $14 for a mini island fire and the portion is almost nothing. You gotta do better. Don't feel like ordering from Ono anymore.
