Customer Reviews
So glad we stopped here on the way home from a weekend trip. Such a great alternative to fast food and way better than we expected. We sat at the bar where Megan took care of us. She was friendly and has a great customer service personality that really made us feel welcome!! We started with the starter sampler, fried green tomatoes, cheese sticks, and jalapeño cornbites. Everything was good, but the cornbites were AMAZING. Fresh, hot, and full of flavor! I got the Freight Line Burger with fries and my boyfriend had the lemon pepper wings with fries. Everything was cooked to order and you could tell it was fresh. The burger was hand-pattied and cooked perfectly, and the wings were really good too. Mr. Jones definitely knows what he’s doing in the kitchen. And the beer… ice cold, some of
Arguably the best burger I’ve ever had… well worth the wait. The burger pictured is the Locomotive (girlfriend); I got the Boxcar. Phenomenal food. Burgers are $2 cheaper if you request them come without a side.
Food is good, bartenders are friendly and attentive. But the karaoke on Saturday nights is legendary. Jack is a cracker jack KJ who loves his job and his singers, and it shows. There's hit nights and cold nights like any other place, but there are some great singers that come just for the crowd and Jack's hosting. Whether you're singing or just listening, a good time is guaranteed at On The Rails on a Saturday night.
Good food & enjoyed drinks shooting pool dancing to late '99 early 2000s. Good time! People are sociable
I've been to On The Rail a couple of times for lunch. The burgers have always been great. When I went back on June 17th for lunch, with a good friend of mine, we were expecting to have a great burger. But, we had to settle for sticky wings and cheap onion rings. It was definitely not worth the price I paid for it. I will not be going back to The Rail.
