On The Hill Cafe

I was greeted pleasantly and waited on immediately even though it was busy.The service was on point and the server was very pleasant. My food was delicious. I most certainly will be back...especially if I can get a window seat again.

When I'm in town this is the first place I go. As some of the locals know it was owned by Ed & back when it was owned by him I used to work at a pizza place next door called Napoli. I would sit and chat with him while he made his famous homemade cornbeef and hash....and yes its was amazing! NOT that canned dog food tasting stuff. Well anyways I was out of state for years & came back. Now its owed by a family of nice people who would have mad Ed proud. They expanded into the pizza shop and kept his recipes and the hospitality to boot. I promise you won't be disappointed! You can thank me later ☺️

Went on a Sunday after church. Very busy but very quick turnover. Food was fresh and hot and prices are affordable. All waitstaff is amazing as well!

I have lived very close to this lovely Cafe for close to 20 years. On a whim I asked my bestie to go to breakfast Sunday. This place was packed! Seemed a lot of regulars were in attendance! The crowd was eclectic. Everyone from church goers to college students. The food was great, filling and reasonable. The crowd was entertaining too! It has very early hours and a great menu! Staff was busy but attentive.

Busy neighborhood diner: friendly and casual atmosphere. Good coffee with frequent offers for refills. Everything we ordered (Reuben, Monte cristo, Eggs Benedict) was made well and seemed fresh, except the home fries (they were bland, undercooked in some places, and were cold, so mightve been made in bulk and sat for a while before being served) This place is cash only, which took us by surprise, but they do have an ATM on site. Overall great value for the quality of food, casual service, and neighborly atmosphere, and above average sandwiches / breakfast options for a diner.
