On The Alley Goleta

Worst tasting water in SBC, they've desperately gotta clean that fountain filter (literally ever). You'll taste it for hours, and it makes the incredible food harder to enjoy. I've tried it every time I go and it's always undrinkable. I'm holding out hope lol The food here is FANTASTIC. Everything I've ever ordered has been well-made and flavorful, and I always try something new. So far, my favorites are the fish and chips (uniquely seasoned, with great tartar sauce) and the tuna melt. I recommend this place to every local i meet, and i love bringing my visiting family members here for their first visits! With a lot of finger foods, it would be great to have a customer hand wash station available, since there's no bathroom, and the nearest one has a code on the door and it's behind the S

Hands down one of the best tuna melts you will ever lay your happy lips on. Plenty of parking, outdoor seating and breakfast all day. What more can you ask for? YUM

I ordered a fish taco without cheese. It was delivered with cheese and I told the lad I didn’t want cheese. He said he’d get me another without cheese. I said no worries but they brought me another delicious taco without cheese. I had 2 and they were both delicious. Customer service, I LOVE it!!

As an avid smash burger fan, I gotta say On The Alley serves the best smash burgers I have ever encountered. They played some BANGER music, AND had THREE BIG TVS PLAYING THE GREAT STUFF - including the “BIG GUY” AKA SpongeBob. The big Bob. As well as the college football championship. Will definitely come back to get my burger smashed again.

Great quick lunch. The staff were super friendly and the food was good. We ate outside because the weather was beautiful.
