Omega's Market & Diner

I knew it was something to this place when at first I pulled up and there was no parking. Then the line was nearly out of the door. Servers were friendly as they could be as they were very busy catering to a bunch of hungry customers myself included. I had the meatloaf meal with collars and Mac with peach cobbler for dessert. Let me tell you, this food did not disappoint me. OMEGA'S OWES ME NOTHING. Those portions are generous and delightful. Do yourself a favor and go get fed there. Like seriously...get to there now. I'll review the oxtail meal next.

Step back in time when employees and customers knew each other by name, where the owners sat and ate and chatted with customers, where the conversations was more about life in general and little to do with the food. If you are looking for extended family and a place to call your second home then this place might be it. While you could get a quick meal here I would encourage you to slow down, take your time, enjoy life, and make new friends. This place is perfect for that. These people have a passion for good, home cooking but also, and certainly most important, they have a passion for Jesus.

Omega’s market and diner is the spot. What a wonderful brunch we had. Tried the chicken and dressing, fried chicken, and country fried steak. Our sides included pinto beans, greens and cabbage, green beans, Mac and cheese, mash potatoes, and corn bread. The food was spectacular!! The chicken was cooked crispy and seasoned but still juicy. The chicken and dressing was simply outstanding. Listen to this, the fruit tea is the drink to get. The best hands down fruit tea I have ever had. I will be back. Do yourself a favor and try this place. Staff is prompt, helpful, and friendly. Overall an outstanding experience.

The food is excellent, but they only give you very small portions. I've already been institutionalized once. I'm not trying to go back to prison. I discontinued my journey there. I can't starve. I need a longer life span.

Food is delicious 😋 Very friendly staff... even a couple customers commented on selections. The initial entrance and "ordering" was a bit confusing. Very much (what I'd call) good southern cooking. It's not a "date night" sort of place... It seems to cater to a neighborhood get together kind of place. I would definitely encourage people to try this place... I do believe I'll go again.. because the food truly was absolutely worth the price!!
