Customer Reviews
Without a doubt, this is the best omakase experience in Chicago when it comes to both quality and value. Every course showcased an incredible balance of flavor, texture, and freshness. The ingredients were exceptional and the fish melted like butter. From the Hokkaido scallops to the uni, each component was thoughtfully sourced and perfectly paired within every dish. Nothing felt random or excessive; every bite had purpose and it all came together seamlessly. I appreciated that they would pair ingredients together that I haven’t seen before. What truly sets this place apart is the level of care behind the experience. You can immediately tell the team is deeply knowledgeable and incredibly intentional about what they serve. They go the extra mile, not just in the food, but in the way they
Absolutely phenomenal! The food, the service and ambiance. Our server Desta was lovely and very attentive. We did the table side 11 piece omakase and ordered a few a la carte hand rolls. Everything was amazing and truly 10/10. We cannot wait to come back!!
My friend and I came to celebrate my birthday and Chef Lee made it a good and memorable experience. The 15 course meal was well worth its price. Each dish was fresh and prepared with skill. We even got additional Chutoro sushi after just because it was so delicious. The cheesecake basque was lovely as well. Would highly recommend. I’m definitely going back again with more people.
Fantastic omakase experience. We went with the $49 Wed/Thu special (furikake edamame, 7 pieces of nigiri, 2 hand rolls). On top of that, we also got miso soup (made with a firmer tofu and also mochi to wrap up the meal. I got the spiced herbal tea (came with hot water refills) and it was absolutely delicious. The service was great. The meal was paced well. The staff was attentive. The food absolutely delicious. It’s not a big space, but it’s not crazy crowded. Tables are nicely space and the vibes are good. Not super loud so you can have a conversation. Didn’t feel rushed at all.
Our new favorite sushi spot!! You can really tell the owners love what they do and believe in their craft - they're waiting tables, serving dishes, and providing explanations for each of the pieces. One of the best restaurant experiences we've had in years. Also, the cheesecake is tremendously good and even gluten-free (most items are GF!). Will be back soon!
