When I saw that an African restaurant opened in Fort Worth, I was so excited to try. I read the reviews and despite some negative ones, there were many positives. MY EXPERIENCE - There was at least a 20 minute wait time for the food. Long, but I understand delays happen. The service was fine, nothing special or bad. My biggest issue is with the food portions and prices. I don’t mind paying a higher amount for ethnic cuisines, but the portion size was SO disappointing. I paid $28 for egusi soup and fufu. They gave me one small piece of goat meat and a tiny piece of shaki. I had to ask for another piece of meat because it felt like robbery. The Jollof rice and meat portion was also smaller for $18.99! Overall, the taste of the food was authentic, but could be more seasoned/tasty. My experi

My husband and I visited there last night, and I have to give it a solid 10/10! We enjoyed the Egusi, and it was bursting with flavor. Though it was a bit pricey which is often the case with authentic places it truly felt worth it. I'm so happy to finally have a restaurant like this in Fort Worth! The gentleman taking our order was so welcoming.

Update 01/05/2026: A few days ago, I ordered a meal for my family and I was extremely disappointed. Today, management reached out to me offering to fix the complaints I had and do better. I received a better prepared amala, gbegiri and ewedu soup and a complimentry plate of fried rice with fish and turkey. This time the food was really good, better prepared and met my expectations. I am happy they made an effort to look into the concerns of their customer and make amends. 01/03/2026: Arrived in Fort Worth and decided to order some Nigerian food from this restaurant via Uber Eat. The food arrived and it was an absolute disaster! Wish I could give a zero star. The ewedu and gbegiri did not look edible and it was very watery and stale. The fish on the efo riro was spoilt. The turkey was als

I ordered via DoorDash. I got Jollof with 2 protein plate. I chose double goat as the protein and received 2 1/2 pieces of meat ($26.50). The goat meat was so tough, it was hard to chew and swallow. I also got a meat pie, a chicken leg, and a piece of fish. The meat inside the meat pie had a strange texture that was very off putting. The chicken leg had way too much sauce on it, tasted like tomato paste and vinegar. I took a small bite of fish and it was a huge no for me. I also ordered plantains but didn’t receive them ($9). In my pictures it is the Jollof w/goat and meat pie. The other picture is the chicken leg and fish. The Jollof was the only palatable thing, but it wasn’t the best. Overall disappointed because that was $60 for food that 95% of it went in the trash.

The food was AMAZING! Flavorful and authentic. The young woman at the counter was very helpful this morning. It was my first time there; however, I have been meaning to try this restaurant out since I started following them on TikTok. I’m glad I did. 🫶🏾
