Olive Garden Italian Restaurant

We had a great experience at Olive Garden tonight, and a big part of that was our server, Micaiah. He was exactly the kind of server you hope for when you go out — attentive without hovering, friendly, and genuinely focused on making sure we were taken care of. He checked on us regularly, kept everything flowing smoothly, gave us extra breadsticks, and even made sure we got soup to go. He also communicated clearly when the kitchen was running behind, which we really appreciated. The soups and salad were excellent — especially the chicken & gnocchi. Everything there was fresh, hot, and comforting. My entrée unfortunately wasn’t for me (lesson learned: I should’ve stuck with my usual chicken Alfredo), but that’s on my choice, not the staff. First I have say our server Ruben was outstanding. Very friendly and attentive.Ruben is why the restaurant even got a 3. Food was eh! I describe it as Italian fast food. Some of the pasta was rubbery. Like it had been under a warmer or in a microwave. We have noticed the quality of food has been going downhill. Unfortunately we won’t be going anymore. Hopefully there are better Olive Garden restaurants.

Amazing service. We had 16 people including 4 small children. Ben and Amanda did a fabulous job taking care of us - even making sure the children got their food quickly. Our beverages were refilled constantly. All ordered were perfect and served with a smile. Thank you for a great dining experience.

We did a large take out meal for 9. The mozerella sticks were great. The chicken parm was pretty tender and actually tasty. We got alfredo noodles with chicken on the side. Chicken was very tender and the noodles had plenty of sauce. You have to ask for extra when dining in, but not with the takeout.

When we walked into Olive Garden in Holly Springs, we were told we’d have to wait about ten minutes. Now—I’ve been around long enough to know that sometimes you wait a little bit for a table. That’s fine. But here’s the thing: we asked for a booth. We walked past several open booths, and still, we were sat in the middle of the restaurant. When I asked again, we were told there weren’t any booths available. A few minutes later, a booth in plain sight was seated with other guests. Now—that may not seem like a big deal to some. But it speaks to something larger. Because when you say you don’t have something, and then a customer sees it’s available, trust is broken.
