Honestly, the food was not fully up to my expectations, but it was not bad at all. Having lived in Kuwait for nearly 20 years, it’s probably not fair to expect the exact same authentic Arabic taste in a restaurant in the USA. Overall, the food was pretty good. The only thing I didn’t like was the service style. The waiters bring the food to the table, but after dining, clearing plates and other items is self-service, similar to a fast-food setup. When you go as a group, it’s not easy to clear a large number of plates and cutlery, unlike fast-food places where each person has a tray to return. So personally, I did not like this self-service concept here.
This Greek restaurant in Fayetteville offered one of the most delightful dining experiences I’ve ever had. It made me realize that I had underestimated the quality of the other competitors, settling for them instead. Upon our arrival, the staff greeted us warmly and, since we weren’t overly hungry, they provided excellent recommendations. We opted for two smaller meals, which were simply scrumptious. The meat was tender and bursting with flavor, while the rice was cooked to perfection. Every dish on the menu was a delight. What truly sets this restaurant apart is the staff’s unwavering belief in their food and their genuine pride in it. It’s a rare trait that I’ve rarely encountered in other restaurants.
I had passed by this place many times, but had never stopped on in. Man oh man how I regret that! This place is a must-visit spot if you like delicious food and friendly service. I ordered the baba ghanoush and the Lamb Chop platter (cooked well-done) and everything tasted so good and went above my expectations. I would have eaten the plates themselves if I could have. 5/5.
I have driven by this restaurant many times, decided to order yesterday. Received food from restaurant via UBER EATS. I ordered the souvlaki, the lamb gyro wrap, chicken tawook wrap with fries and a small Greek salad. The food was hot when delivered, everything down to the fries was tasty and delicious, I did not need any additional seasoning for any of it! Looking forward to ordering again.
Our first time at Olea's was very enjoyable. We were welcomed as we came in. It is a semi-formal restaurant. You order at the counter. Food is prepared quickly, and they bring it to your table. The atmosphere is much like a fancy sit-down restaurant. But there is no waitress checking on you. We had a good experince and have returned.
