Old Shell Store - Kitchen & Taphouse

We just stopped in here because it looked like a cool place when we were driving by. They had many souvenirs, snacks, beer and a restaurant. Decided to get something to eat and I am so glad we did! Everything is made fresh with a wood burning grill, the hamburger and French fries were out of this word and their chocolate chip cookie ice cream sandwich was homemade and the best I ever had! This is a must stop if you are in the area as you go right by it if you are traveling on Route 14 on your way to Greybull! The bonus was it was a beautiful day and they both indoor and also outdoor seating so you can enjoy the day! Highly recommend!

This place is a gem! The food was delicious. We had the Whiskey burger and the Pub burger. The fries were some of the best fries I've had. The building is beautiful and the back outdoor area has nice shade and tables to sit outside. We'll definitely be going back to try the baked goods and ice cream sandwiches.

A friend in the area suggested I try out the deserts here, WOW He was not wrong it was a very good peanut butter bar I also tried an Italian soda I would definitely return next time I'm in the area

Had a few meals here while staying in Shell for a week. The breakfast pastries are amazing! If you’re in town for dinner, definitely stop in for a burger. One of the best, most flavorful burgers we’ve ever had. It’s obviously that they take pride in their food and atmosphere and it shows. Highly recommend.

I have dined at the Old Shell store a couple times. The first was because it was recommended, the second was because it is so awesome! I have tried the Whiskey Burger and the Jalapeno Burger and they were both great! Their naked goods are fresh, large and delicious. And, if you like a cold draft beer with your meal, they have a great selection!
