Old Grist Mill Smithfield

Love the food here. I usually get a full sandwich. It’s the homemade sandwich you wish your mom made. Fresh bread is baked at the 400 N Logan location daily and delivered. Soups are just ok. Desserts are phenomenal. Also made daily. Never had a dessert I didn’t like.

Food is always great here but Google said the Smithfield location is open on Sunday so I drove over there and it is in fact, not open sundays. If you could just get that switched so it is accurate that would be awesome. Otherwise love this place. Best bread and sugar cookies in town

Every time I’m driving through the area, this is the only place I stop to eat. The food, price and service is to notch! You will not find a better sandwich shop or a better priced meal. I personally love the chicken bacon ranch sandwich is to die for. The soup is great as well, but it is scolding hot, so be careful with it. My wife is allergic to dairy and their pumpkin chocolate bread is dairy free and is as moist as cake, so good.

The service was great, and the food is delicious. I was going to buy a loaf of bread and some raspberry rolls after dinner, but I ended up choosing not to. The reason, they won’t let me tip when paying with my card, and I had already used what little cash I carry for dinner. I couldn’t bring myself to buy the bread and rolls without tipping, so I chose to go without. I really wish I could tip when I pay by card

I stop here every time I attend North Cache Middle School's parent lunch. Perfect location for a quick run on the way to school. I'm impressed at how even during the lunch rush (often filled with high school students), I have never had to wait more than 10 minutes for food. They're doing a great job here and my daughter's friends love the cookies and raspberry rolls that find their way into my order.
