Old Chicago Pizza + Taproom

When we arrived we chose to sit outside since it was a nice night. The only table large enough to seat 5 had plants hanging over the table and in my face my entire meal. The server was nice but took an extremely long time to bring our drinks, refill our drinks and bring our food. We had ordered the Chicago Deep Dish style pizza, and what came was the pan crust. I didn't want to wait forever to exchange it, so I stuck with the pizza that arrived. The sauce was tasty but it wasn't what we were expecting. The bacon Mac and cheese bites were yummy but the cheese sauce was mostly liquid, with some shredded cheese in it like it wasn't melted and mixed together. Overall not very impressed.

The server was not very attentive this trip. He even admitted that he "forgot" to come back and take our order. But the food was delicious and there was plenty of it. The restaurant was clean and the atmosphere was enjoyable.

Great! Prices were excellent. Fish and chips were nothing short of awesome. Probably the best I have ever tasted. The Cole slaw was excellent and the home made tartar sauce was perfect. Did not expect that for a state not on the coast. Staff was nice and bartender recommended an excellent local beer. Plenty of sports on the several televisions and there was a positive atmosphere. Beer was cold. 8 dollars for 23 ounce beer is a good price.

Terrible pizza! Had a color red of sauce on the pizza! Hardly any at all. Original price I was given was $25 and the pizza was $37! Would have been better off going to Pizza Hut lol

Online order, over an hour wait after told 20 minutes. Super wonderful experience to have a host chewing food while at the host station. Superb training and coaching in full display. Get home to give my child this and a French dip so dry it crumbled after dipping into Auju. Auju so concentrated I felt my BP spike 40 points. Dog enjoyed it very.mich though. So theres that.
