Old Canal Smoke House

Old Canal Smokehouse knocked it out of the park! The brisket was melt in your mouth perfection, the ribs were fall off the bone amazing, and the coconut onion rings were unlike anything I’ve ever tasted crispy, flavorful, and completely addictive. Even the mushrooms were fantastic. Every single bite felt like they put real heart into their cooking. And let me tell you… the homemade peanut butter pie was heavenly. Truly unlike anything on earth!!Creamy, rich, and absolutely unforgettable. Worth the trip all on its own! A huge shout out to Casey, who was hands down the best server ever. Friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The whole atmosphere made us feel right at home. Highly recommend! This place deserves every bit of its 5 stars.

It was a great experience, I tried the smoked brisket and ribs, both tender, full of smoky flavor and cooked just right. The mac and cheese and corn casserole were the perfect sides, rich, comforting, and very well made. The sauces really take everything to the next level — the spicy sauce adds a nice kick, while the sweet and tangy one balances the meats perfectly. This is a great spot if you’re looking for a hearty meal with big BBQ flavor. Portions are generous and everything tastes fresh and well prepared.

Our waitress Kayleigh was great. Service was fast and accurate. They have a good selection of beers and drinks. The food we got was good but the chopped brisket was only average. The smoker turkey wrap was good and the sides of jalapeño slaw, homemade chips and corn casserole were good.

Probably the best brisket I have ever had! The owner, Ryan, brought it out for us to try after we had eaten our lunch. The Coconut Onion rings were out of this world! All the food was excellent! The folks are great! I can’t say enough great things about Old Canal Smoke House!

Definitely not the place it used to be. First off they were out of Brisket again. After eating our food waitress asked about deserts and as soon as she said peanut butter pie, I was in. I love a good peanut butter pie, but this was definitely not it. Got it to go because we had to pick up our daughter but started to eat it as soon as I got home. Unfortunately it has the consistency of a brick!! This is so disgusting. It's like they mixed a gallon of sugar into a gallon of peanut butter and then let it harden. $9 and it's inedible!! Total bill for the two of us was $114 plus tip. Two pops, two dinners, and two desserts. Just ridiculous!!
