Old Caledonian Bed & Breakfast

My husband and I decided at the last minute to take a weekend trip to explore the Mark Twain National Forest. We discovered the Old Caledonian Bed and Breakfast online and it sounded like the perfect place for us to base ourselves for our explorations. It did not disappoint. It is a charming home with lovely grounds. This is a family run business. The current owners have had it for less than two years, and are doing a fantastic job with it. Everyone makes an effort to make you feel welcome, and to make sure that you enjoy your stay. Carol prepared some wonderful breakfasts for us. You can even arrange to get your dinner there. First time in Caledonia! great location for Glow and Stroll. VERY clean! super gracious hosts, the place is warm, relaxing and makes you feel at home. The food was very good! (We had breakfast and dinner)..our beautiful Room was large, comfortable bed and the soaking tub had nice hot water...we can't wait to come back and tour the grounds when the plants are in full force

It was so beautiful, I loved the antiques, grounds were beautiful as well. But the food was amazing! Never left the table hungry, truly wonderful. The family that own were amazing to us, they truly are wonderful people, tiki, too. I will definitely go back to stay. We hunted rocks near there and we hit the jack pot. It's such a cute town. One of the best bed and breakfast I have stayed in. You won't be disappointed if you stay there!

We rented a room for a photo shoot and it was beautiful! We also enjoyed the high tea. It was a wonderful experience with delicious food. Can’t wait to go back!
