OLATEE AFRICAN CAFE

I really wanted to like this place, but the prices and portions are absolutely insane. They charged $5 for one small piece of goat meat, $5 for a single meat pie, and $6 for this tiny cup of stew that was mostly just oil . Then they tried to charge $20 for a small plate of suya, and it wasn’t even fresh suya, it definitely shouldn’t cost that much. Some of the employees are nice, but others — including the owner — have an attitude and make the experience uncomfortable! The food prices change randomly, and for the amount they’re charging, I expected way better service and quality. I wouldn’t recommend it unless they seriously fix their pricing, and customer service.

First time here and first time for African food. Staff was wonderful and all smiles, walked me through what everything was and if it was or wasn't spicy. Asked if I had allergies to certain things. Got to taste test before making my selections. This food is amazing will be back real soon to try other things that's for sure

This cafe is a 10/10.Was Served with Suya(Beef), Jollof Rice,Hake Fish,Plantain Fried dodo and Goat meat.Tasty food that my family and i enjoyed . The cleanest and well organized cafe. Love, Love, Love, this place. Food is very excellent. Very delicious. Never tasted anything like it before I’ve been going since the one in Conroe and since they’ve built this one in Huntsville, I go almost every other day.

I have only been to this place once, but I love it. It’s super clean. Food is good and they have feminine products in the bathroom for free. They are doing the Good Lord work.
