We recently stayed at the Okoboji Country Inn. It was wonderful! Ann has done such a lovely job of making each of the rooms look beautiful. All of the rooms are very restful and well appointed. The house has a welcoming common area with couches, tv, and reading material and the shared kitchen is stocked with water, coffee, tea and even some nibbles (like homemade cookies)! The breakfast is served over at the historic building where Ann runs her amazing 3 story gift shop. The breakfast is handmade, delicious, and a luxurious way to start the day. The inn is located a very short drive from the waterfront and restaurants. We look forward to staying here again and are grateful to Ann for her labor of love in stewarding these wonderful buildings full of character.

We usually stay with my mother when visiting Okoboji, but her house was full with relatives for a family reunion. This charming inn was definitely the next best place to be! The innkeeper, Ann, could not be nicer or more welcoming. We stayed in the Lodge Room and were pleased with the very comfortable bed and linens. We slept great in the peaceful, quiet room. There is a cozy living area and little kitchen/dining area on the main level, which gave the feeling of being in someone's well-loved home. There is a wonderful, 3-story gift shop on the grounds. To take full advantage of the hotel's location, go to the nearby Taco House, get your food to go, and head on over to West O Brewery and enjoy a Smoked Red! Also be sure to check out the impressive Iowa Great Lakes Maritime Museum, loc

I was recently at the Okoboji country Inn and had a delightful time. The rooms are quiet and comfortable. The Inn is very relaxing. There is a roomy lounge area with a TV. It was nice to go back to the Inn between activities to decompress and cool down. The whole Inn was very clean. And I must mention the breakfast. Ann, the hostess, makes a wonderful breakfast every morning. I was there three nights and the menu varied from caramel apple French toast to breakfast pockets to bacon quiche. The entrees were always served with an abundance of fruit as well as meat and a heart shaped muffin. Everything was delicious and it was a great way to start off the day. I would definitely recommend this Inn if you need a place to stay in the Lake Okoboji area. I liked that it was so quiet and peaceful,

My daughters and I recently spent a weekend here for our annual Mother-Daughter weekend. We always choose a bed and breakfast. It was, as one of my daughters said, the cleanest B & B we've ever stayed in. Add to that the comfortable accommodations, gracious hosts, and outstanding breakfasts, and we were very pleased. It is conveniently located just a short distance to Arnold's Park and West Okoboji. Plus it is within walking distance of one of the public beaches -- perfect for an evening stroll. All in all this was a great choice.

First, Donna and Ann, mother and daughter, run a wonderful B and B. The breakfast was to die for. I'm pretty sure Ann is doing the cooking and it was wonderful. I'm not even sure of the name of the dishes but they were worth the trip to Lake Okoboji. First B and B my wife and I have stayed at that had their own gift shop, and it was loaded. My wife may have bankrupted me. The two ladies were extremely nice. Our linens were changed every day (3 days) without us having to ask. Very nice. Much appreciated. It was a little pricey but that was to be expected since this is a resort area. Very comfortable.
