A cozy and welcoming little place with a warm, down-to-earth vibe. The handmade noodles and fresh soup dumplings are delicious, and the BBQ skewers are excellent—especially the lamb. Definitely a spot worth coming back to.
I was very excited to see a Hong Kong style & authentic Chinese restaurant opened up in my area. Finding good & authentic Chinese food spots is a bit of a challenge here. I’ve done take-out here 2x and ate there for dinner recently. I’ve eaten here before it was Okay Noodle so I knew the restaurant wasn’t too big to begin with. Last time I went my friend and I shared a steamed rice roll and a Chinese sausage clay pot rice. The steamed rice roll was good, perfectly made. The clay pot rice could have been better. I felt like there wasn’t enough toppings or the ratio of rice to meat was limited. The service was mediocre. I felt like we were rushed by one of the waiters after we were done eating when the restaurant wasn’t even crowded. I think I prefer ordering take-out instead since I liv
If you’ve been wondering where E Noodle in Flushing has gone, it’s here. The same owner of E Noodle opened Okay Noodle! (I asked the staff and the manager and cashier confirmed). Same good tastes and menu (and phone number), just in Elmhurst. Wonton noodle soup came with 4 dumplings, the soup tasted like a sweet dashi broth? Their noodles were crisp! We appreciated that the soup and noodles/wontons were separated since we got it to go. The beef chow fun was flavorful. It had a heavy oyster sauce taste that we liked. The chicken fried rice was pretty standard. The kids like it so we ordered it (note to parents: it does have onions in it but we pick it up for the kids and they happily eat it). Looking forward to coming by for their clay pot rice when we have more time.
Food is delicious and very authentic Hong Kong style. The handmade rice noodles have great texture, and the dumplings are fresh and flavorful. Small place but clean and cozy, and service was friendly. Definitely a great spot in Elmhurst. Will come back again.
I tried their curry dish and it was amazing. The curry flavor is rich, deep, and very aromatic. You can tell it’s made with a special, house-style blend of ingredients that you don’t find everywhere. The sauce is bold, comforting, and honestly a bit addictive. Definitely one of the best curry dishes I’ve had in Elmhurst. And the pearl noodle is really good and fresh also, I’ll be coming back for this again.
