Customer Reviews
We went to Oishii for my birthday dinner, and every single bite truly melted in my mouth. There is no doubt you will enjoy yourself here. The food is exceptional. We ordered an assortment of maki, nigiri, crispy rice, fried rice, and more, and everything tasted sensational. Even though we dined on New Year’s Eve, the quality of the food did not suffer at all. The service was just as impressive. The staff was incredibly attentive and genuinely caring. They offered to check our coats for free, and since it was my first time and the restaurant is dimly lit, a staff member walked me to the restroom. Those thoughtful touches really stood out. One small note is that we were seated between two other two-person tables, which initially made conversation feel a bit close. However, the guests near
The tuna tartare was absolutely amazing, some of the freshest tuna I’ve ever had. I’m glad I tried this place with my friends. The presentation was beautiful and the atmosphere was very nice. While the desserts were good, they weren’t the highlight for me. It is a pricey restaurant, but overall it was a pleasant experience.
Came for dinner, left emotionally attached. Foie gras said “treat yourself,” wagyu burgers said “cancel your plans,” and the treasure spoon felt like I unlocked a side quest. Handrolls were rolled with love, squid ink pasta had me questioning my life choices (in a good way), and the coconut sphere? A ✨dramatic reveal✨. Matcha crepe + lobster dumplings = I’m not the same person anymore. Dancing salmon stole the show. I was just there for moral support.
Oishii Boston was mid for me — a good meal, but not my top spot for sushi in the city. We enjoyed dinner and everything was perfectly pleasant, but nothing really stood out as memorable. The presentation leaned heavily toward show over substance — beautiful plating and creative visuals, but the flavors didn’t quite match the hype. Solid if you’re looking for a vibey night out, just not where I’d go when I’m craving truly exceptional sushi.
Great vive and clean, nice presentation of the food, fresh ingredients. My seafood udon soup was nothing special, but the rolls are really great. So is dessert.
