O.H.M.S. Cafe & Bar

Finally had our anniversary dinner at O.H.M.S. Service and atmosphere was wonderful. Best steak and crab cakes I've ever had. It's definitely a new staple for our celebration meals.

I can’t say enough good things about OHMS in Amarillo! From the moment we walked in, the service was warm, attentive, and welcoming. The atmosphere strikes the perfect balance of upscale yet comfortable, making it a great spot for both special occasions and a relaxed evening out. The food was absolutely outstanding — beautifully plated and bursting with flavor. Every dish felt thoughtfully crafted, and the ingredients tasted incredibly fresh. The menu has a creative twist on classics while staying true to bold Texas flavors, which made the whole experience memorable. The wine and cocktail selection was also impressive, and our server made excellent pairing recommendations. We left feeling satisfied, impressed, and already planning our next visit.

Ate here with my wife for my birthday to try yet another nice place in Amarillo. To start off, we had the Lamb Chops Egg Rolls and Pig Candy. For our entrees, my wife had the Beef Filet At Poivre and I tried the Seared Organic Elk Tenderloin. I have tried the Elk at at Public House and was recommended by many friends that the Elk was good. What I can say is that they are right. The Elk by far is the best Elk that I have ever tasted. The meat did not have any of the gamey taste that is normal to deer, elk and other forest animals. The sides that came with both entrees were quite delicious especially with the sauce. Overall, I think OHMS is a really good restaurant and will definitely come back to eat again. The drinks were incredible and not watered down. The food was amazing! We had the chocolate chili pepper tres leches, and it was one of the best desserts I've ever had. It was a wonderful way to celebrate our anniversary.

Jade was a fantastic server. We came on an extremely busy night and she did a great job taking care of us. The elk tenderloin is a standout option and I highly recommend it. We finished off our meal with the bread pudding doughnut, which was solid. Overall a great dinner
