Ohio Westbound I70 Rest Area

Clean, lots of space, and an inviting front room for the kids. Also a refill station for filtered bottle water. Bathroom is clean and everything is nicely kept. Good place to stop on a trip.

I don’t typically get too excited about rest areas but this one is extremely nice! Honestly it really surprised me as it has the aesthetic of like a Tennessee or Kentucky rest area. Not really what I expected in Ohio… was very clean and smells new. Has some historical exhibits, tourism info, and even some places to sit. I really like the places to sit as most rest areas only have a bathroom and that’s about it. Nice little place to take a break and relax for a few minutes. It’s dark out but even the outside looks very cozy and welcoming. I was also surprised there aren’t more trucks here being it’s later at night. Anyway, well done Ohio! I travel the entire country and I put you in the top 5, if not the top 3 rest areas.

Stopped at this rest area and was pleasantly surprised by how nice and clean it was. The facilities were well maintained, the grounds were tidy, and there was plenty of space to stretch and relax. It felt safe, well lit, and cared for. A great spot to take a break during a long drive. Would definitely stop again!

One of the new rest areas. It is also an information center as it isn't far from the state line. Plenty of rocking chairs inside and out as well as padded benches inside. A few picnic tables on the patio attached to the building. Clean! Has family restroom facilities as well as traditional Men and Women's. Water fountains have water bottle filling too. The vending area has several machines.

Extremely clean rest area. Good amount of indoor seating. This place only needs a cafe or a self service hot beverage dispenser.
