Super helpful staff, good selection, plenty of community resources, I've spent many an hour here picking out books and reading quietly.

I visited this beautiful library while staying in town with my grandbaby and well-behaved dog. The building itself is lovely and well kept and the staff inside was helpful and courteous. We were excited to spend some time there. However, I was very surprised And disappointed when I was asked to leave simply because my dog was tied up outside while we were inside. my dog wasn’t causing any trouble and was securely leashed in a shaded area. I understand the importance of safety, But to my knowledge, there is nothing posted in the code of conduct that prohibits a leashed dog to be on public property. Nice library, good selection of books, movies, board games, videos games, cds, audio books and even a lending library with items like calligraphy sets and sewing machines!

Outstanding, well attended, great presentations, (Linsly Grads & current) well recieved... continue to do more!!!

OCPL is wonderful. The employees are super helpful, and if they don't know the answer to a question, they go above and beyond to figure it out. When my kids were small, we attended storytime every week, and as they've gotten older, they still love coming to check out books and read in the children's area. I have taken free classes that the library has offered, and met so many wonderful people. I'm grateful that Wheeling has such a wonderful resource.
