Ohana Sushi

As new residents, we're trying to find our new favorites and Ohana Sushi has rocketed to the top of the list. It's an unassuming place from outside but the inside decor was pleasantly lit, decorated well, and spacious. Our server was attentive and friendly and made sure we weren't lacking anything. We were greeted with a free bowl of edamame and ordered a Sapphoro beer and hot plum sake. With our drinks, we were given complimentary egg rolls that were a delightful light taste with a nice crunch. Our entrees were a Hawaii roll and a tempura shrimp roll with yellow fon sashimi. Tried this for the first time the other night. We went in. We sat there, probably about five minutes before the waitress who was supposed to be serving us spilled drinks at another table, which then led to us sitting there an additional five minutes of waiting to be approached to get our drink orders so we sat there for 10 minutes without anybody coming into our table to greet us or get a drink order. Which I can understand the due to her spilling the drink, but the fact that we literally sat there for five minutes before just made it frustrating, my husband, and I actually discussed somewhere else to eat because we had a feeling that with there only being three other tables in the restaurant and not getting service might not end up being good but when we were getting ready to get up, the

Delicious. My husband and I went here for a Valentine's dinner. It was very crowded but we were seated fairly quickly because it was only two of us. It took a while after we received our water for someone to take our our order but our food came out at a decent time due to it being so busy. Our sushi was delicious. It was fresh and very flavourful. Our server was very friendly. Thank you for a great experience. We will definitely return.

This sushi was Soo good at the service was outstanding. I also had the Miso soup and we shared Sake.

We ended up here by accident (thought we had GPS’ed to a different restaurant), and I’m so glad for our mistake. It’s probably the best sushi restaurant we’ve been to. The food was amazing. Our waitress was fantastic - very attentive and personable. She brought us two dishes on the house, both of which we loved so much we plan to get on our visits from now on. The vegetable tempura was a highlight - very unique and so delicious. The atmosphere was enjoyable. The music was high enough and relaxing enough to set a calm tone, but low enough that you could tune it out and hear the people at your table without strain. Service was fast, but we never felt rushed. We will for sure be back!!
