Fish was hella 🔥🔥🔥, Kool oil spot,nothing fancy.parking was ok,I mean it is on telegraph 😂I saw a few things that needs improvement,BT I won't complain ❤️git the snapper and fries,both were fried to perfection! Huge amount of both for $32.it Fed 2 ppl! Will return!

TL;DR the best fish fry in downtown Oakland This review is for the fish only as I haven’t tried the burritos here yet, BUT if the fish is anything to go on, I expect great things! First, this is a very no-frills place and for me, that’s perfect. The prices are on handwritten signs and the dining area is nothing special, but the fish is GOOD! Again, this is a fish fry and not fish and chips, meaning that there is a cornmeal crust rather than a beer batter, which fries differently. That said, I ordered the red snapper and it was done perfectly. It even held up to the short walk I took to find a place to sit down and eat it, which I really appreciated. One thing about this place is they do put a lot of meat on their burritos & tacos. The taste... well I've definitely have better. They add water to the ingredients once they dry out. But the worse part is the customer service is the WORST. The man that prepares the food can be really snappy. He was very rude to my nephew when we went in.

Food is incredible, always fresh, and fried to perfection. The owner can be a bit rude but it seems like his son has taken over the day to day. Sometimes they can be hard to reach by phone for pick-up orders.

I'm glad I'm not the only one cuz DAMN. To the dude working there : bro you're HELLA rude! Just because you serve decent food, doesn't give you the right to be a dick to your customer! Aside from that, your food is fire. My boy Jason Suggs ** R.I.P. **, we used to come here to eat the burritos 🌯 . So good memories here.
